BioFem Transition by Nutra BioGenesis (formerly BioFem HRT)

Nutritional Support for Menopausal & Post-Menopausal Women

- Special blend of herbs for nutritional support of menopausal and post-menopausal women
- Natural and plant-based hormonal support

BioFem Transition is a special blend of herbs DHEA and pregnenolone intended to provide nutritional support during a woman's transition.

RED CLOVER (TRIFOLIUM PRATENSE) provides a plant source of phytoestrogen isoflavones (genistein, daidzein, formononetin, and biochanin). These isoflavones are typically found in the diet of Asian, Mediterranean, and Central American peoples. The actions of these isoflavones include antioxidant actions, inhibition of various enzymes, and support of various steroidal reproductive hormones. Trifolium isoflavones have been shown to reduce the frequency and severity of hot flashes, promote emotional well-being, and assist in bone health maintenance.

RHEUM RHAPONTICUM root extract (5% rhaponticin, providing 7.5 mg rhaponticin), has been shown in the research to be helpful with many of the symptoms of perimenopausal and menopausal women, including hot flashes, mood lability, anxiety, irritability, vaginal dryness, and fatigue. It is believed to have its effect, like many phytoestrogens, by having a weak binding affinity for estrogen receptors, both a and ß. The long-term safety, including the lack of proliferative uterine stimulation, and efficacy of this ingredient has also been established in multiple long-term studies.
